Fifteen years in, most of it on Meta
I’m Keith Guirao, founder of Maven Media. I started in email marketing in 2012, moved into paid media buying in 2012 across Google, YouTube, and Local Services Ads, and since 2017 I’ve focused almost entirely on Meta. That focus is deliberate: Meta is where most advertisers in my world spend the majority of their budget, and it’s where the tracking is hardest to get right.
Over that time I’ve personally managed 120+ ad accounts and $10M+ in ad spend, up to $600K a month at peak. Not as a team lead signing off on other people’s work, but in the account, building the campaigns and the measurement behind them.
A developer background, not just a media buyer
I hold a B.S. in Information Technology and Web Applications from NJIT. That matters here, because the part of conversion tracking that breaks for most advertisers, the server-side and Conversions API side, is engineering, not just media buying. Pixels, server events, deduplication, and offline conversion feeds are things I build, not things I outsource and hope work.
Since 2021 I’ve rebuilt, tested, and confirmed complete client-side and server-side tracking for 89 lead and registration flows, deduplicated across Meta, Google, and Bing. It’s the same work the Tracking 100 Diagnostic is built on.
Built for regulated verticals
The large majority of my work is for finance, insurance, and loan advertisers, the verticals Meta treats as Special Ad Category, where one tracking mistake costs real money and one compliance mistake can cost the whole account. Across 120+ accounts, I’ve never had one permanently banned. Accounts get flagged in these verticals, that’s normal, and I’ve resolved plenty. But I treat Meta policy as a hard constraint and risk-check every setup before it scales.
Why Tracking 100 exists
Most Meta advertisers are optimizing on partial data and don’t know it. Their dashboard looks fine, so they keep scaling, while iOS, Safari, and ad blockers quietly eat the conversions before Meta ever sees them. Tracking 100 gives you an objective score of exactly how much is getting through, in about three minutes, with no account access required. If you want it fixed, the paid diagnostic does that, backed by a 1-year money-back guarantee.
